A volunteer is someone who assists those in need. They volunteer to help the community in the event of a disaster without regard for personal gain. To honour the selfless assistance of people all over the world, unselfish services must be highly valued.
They are entitled to reasonable societal support because, in the event of a larger disaster, such as an earthquake, flood, or storm, or other emergency situation involving human lives, they worked with authorities to save lives. Volunteers put their lives in danger to save the lives of others.
Nations can only be strong when a large number of social workers band together to help those in need. A volunteer's role is similar to that of a building under construction that has been halted due to a lack of funds or labour, but some people volunteer to assist with construction without being compensated.
Governments must implement policies that properly recognise social workers. And their significance should not be overlooked following the services. They should be recognised on a national and international scale in order to increase motivation and aid in the development of volunteer organisations.
Every year on April 20th, a day is set aside to honour volunteers who risk their lives without expecting anything in return. The primary goal of this day is to raise awareness about the value of social workers while also recognising and appreciating their contributions.
