The most crucial skill for students learning a language is writing. Writing teaches students how to think creatively and communicate effectively.
According to Grebe and Kaplan (1996), writing is a significant skill and a difficult task to acquire. It is an important and effective means of self-expression, communication, and information gathering. Writing necessitates more concentration, knowledge, and diligence. Students are more likely to be interested in other skills because writing requires more consistent and deliberate effort from them. Because writing is not a straightforward cognitive activity, it may be difficult to teach or learn. Instead, it is thought to be a complicated mental process that calls for "careful thought, discipline, and concentration" (Grami, 2010, p. 9).
One of the greatest challenges language teachers face today is the aversion this causes to writing. Students and teachers alike find "Writing" challenging due to a number of factors. Nunan (1989) contends that composing is a very troublesome mental movement that requires the student to have command over different elements.
